With a BSc. degree in Electrical Engineering, Peter began his
business career in China in 1988, serving as the China sales and
marketing manager for a large multinational corporation. Upon
receiving his MBA in marketing from National Taiwan University,
Peter went on to establish Asia Base in 1994. He has since
advised several hundred foreign companies on China market entry
and strategy.
Peter is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and has lived in China with
his family for more than 20 years. He currently sits on the board
of six foreign-invested companies in China. Peter was nominated
businessman of the Year by the Danish Chamber of Commerce in 2007
for his outstanding contributions to development of Danish
businesses in China.
Peter specializes in providing strategic advice to top level
decision makers regarding China market entry and marketing
strategies, focusing on how to handle emerging competition from
fast-growing Chinese competitors.
Alex graduated from the East China Institute of Political Science
& Law in 1989 with a degree in International Economic Law.
His first job was with a large State-owned Import/Export company
run by the Suzhou Municipal Foreign Economic & Trade
Commission where he stayed for several years. From 1991-1997 he
worked directly for this Commission in various capacities
developing valuable contacts.
Alex passed the China National Bar Examination in 1994, and
worked at a small local law firm in Suzhou from 1997-1999. He
joined Asia Base A/S in 1999, and has since risen to become the
Senior Lawyer handling a wide variety of cases related to foreign
investment and establishment in China.
